All Electric Passive House Virtual Tour
In January 2020, we held an open house at a certified Passive House under construction so that visitors could see the inner workings of this very special house. The most successful building projects result when there is an integrated process that keeps the end performance goals in mind. This house will be certified through Passive House International (PHI). To earn certification, the home was designed to run on approximately 70 to 80 percent less energy than a conventionally built house. Because solar panels will produce as much energy as this all-electric house uses, the operational carbon footprint is minimized.
